Hi there! I know, Chester is onery! BUT lovable...I had several cats like this. One named Tao that actually knocked pictures down and leapt up making the ones on hangers be crooked. I had to put him in a spare room for a while when I had to be gone. Anyway, Thank you for this great review...what a joy! HUG! Susan

Suse, this was funny until I looked at the picture. Then it became hysterical! Poor Chester. He's all done in! LOL! Oh, I think you misspelled "imperturbable". :) Nancy

Hi Nancy! I know, this cat was so tired. BUT, I wonder, as I kinda know cats...if he wasn't in a normal position and the owner sort of gently laid him out, snapped this photo and he probably rolled right back up? I dont' know. SO cute...and oh, I looked up that word and it's online as such? I'll try again tho. I send a huge hug for your enthusiastic review. This made me laugh...and that's hard to do. hugs! Susan

Oh that picture is to die for!!! I love it :) Your story is very cute about a mischievous cat. I have had many cats over the years and they all had their own personalities. They sure charmed their way into my heart.

I know! I thought that too, Joy! HOW cute...wouldn't you love to just pick him up and love on him??? Oh. I'm glad you like and have had cats. There are too many tho....and get mistreated. I hate that. But, well...thank you dear. Your kind note is wonderful. xoxo. Susan

O yes, Susan, when I look at the picture it's been a hard days night.LOL. I love this little story and can relate it. My daughter has three cats and yes cats are hunters, nothing is safe for them... They catch birds, fish and nibble on houseplants... they are very busy with it, and so is my daughter.... I love the picture and the story. Great job writing this. Fia

I used up my monthly allotment of 6's so you'll have to settle for a 5, sorry. What a delightful and clever story about an energetic and determined cat. Marvelous photo that also made me laugh.

Oh Miss Smurph! Never fear...your kind thoughts are worth a million to me. Always. Just so you enjoy, that is all that matters. I just loved this photo and had to put words to it. SO cute! We need cuteness in our lives. And each other. LOVE you!! Suse

LOL! This was a lot of fun and very clever. I just wonder why he'd wait till "the fish tank had a lid." How will he get to the fish if they put a lid on it? You might want to reword that... very confusing. Love the new curtains, tho. :)

Hi Phyllis! I tried to say they bought a lid after this rampage? LOL! I did rework one sentence. I think it was that one. I had a cat years ago that would climb curtains. She was a doll too. But had to go to the barn. I love them all. This pix just had to have a short story! And I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend. :) Susan

LOL what a delightful story. I love the idea of Chester working himself to a cat-frazzle, really made me smile.
'The others stayed well hidden amongst the sunken treasure chest(,) and bright green plastic kelp.'
I'm no authority, but I think this comma is unnecessary.
'Soon the house would come back to life with the hustle and bustle of the people who lived inside (the walls,)'
I had to read the sentence twice to understand it, as crawly things live inside walls. May just be me, but think your meaning is more clear without it.
Thanks for a very entertaining read this Sunday morning. Anna
