LOL at the picture. Could see Chester quite worn out after all that activity. One spag? the canid called Billy.
Did you mean "canine"? More of a vignette than false fiction, but I don't think there's a category for that.

Hi Shari, thanks! Wouldn't you like to tickle that tummy?? SO cute. This little guy is out of it. Lol! Yes, most of my stories are not even stories. I can't sit long enuff anymore. I'm trying to do one that's longer, but have to do it on paper then type as fast as I can. Thank you for this kind note my friend. xoxo. Susan

Hi Susan :)

This is the personification of outstanding. A great piece which earns one of my virtual "Twelvers" -- great job and not sad either. Of course we'll have a moment of silence for the fish.

Oh Ted! My first REAL laugh in a long time. A moment for the fish. That's funnier than the story! Seriously! Thank you for a grand review...another I'd love to frame! hugs, Susan

Chester needs a break
From his malicious play
His energy depleted
His mind in a whirl
Chester needs a break
For another day

Very well done, Buck

I don't even know where to begin with this one. It was funny, cute and a little horrifying all at the same time. I really felt sorry for poor Chester, because the dog refuses to play with him! I like little Chester, he has spunk!

This was a good fun read. You have used some great descriptive images here with regard to the fish and the dog.

It is just as well that cats have nine lifes. Look forward to reading more of your work

hugs

Hi there! I know, Chester is onery! BUT lovable...I had several cats like this. One named Tao that actually knocked pictures down and leapt up making the ones on hangers be crooked. I had to put him in a spare room for a while when I had to be gone. Anyway, Thank you for this great review...what a joy! HUG! Susan

Susan,

This sounds like a cat I wouldn't keep. I hope the new curtains are made of steel mesh, and I'm glad the fish tank has a lid. I enjoyed this read and found nothing to criticize.

In reading this story, I could easily see something like that occurring. I have own a few cats in the past and they do have a tendency to get themselves into trouble.

Thanks for sharing this.. JW

Cat-atonic..that is the words that comes into my mind. What a great description of what has happened to put this feline into this physical condition. I have felt this way after many a day myself. I like your storyline..and why, oh why, do they do this stuff when no one is looking? I have come home to find garbage from the trash can scattered hither and yon by two dogs when it is in the same location as always..but the minute you turn your back..wham! Then, they look at you like they are so innocent. Loved this one.

OH yes! I had a couple of dogs YEARS ago,who one day, got into the trash outside. I had tried unsuccessfully to burn it and they sat in front of me trying desparately to look as if they had done nothing. I grabbed my camera and oh how i wish I could find it, but I have a photo of them looking up from my feet...BOTH faces of these white dogs, black with soot. I wish you could see. Lol! Thank you for sharing and enjoying this little tail. :) Susan
