I applaud you for having the patience and perseverance it must have taken to create this wonderful piece. I very nearly didn't read it when I sure how long it was, but it is a subject that interests me so thought I would give it a go. How pleased am I! It was wonderfully colorful in imagery and story telling and I was lost in the story from beginning to end and could see each of the character types clearly, especially the harpies. Very well done and good luck in the contest :) Tina

Wow, that was epic, love rhyming poems, my kind of stuff, but with this journey, and that's what it was, it must of been tough. And in saying that, at times it was lost, you've done well, but I'm here to review, and so I will.
Bit long for me, I know it's a tale that must be told, but you've got to keep the reader interested, and it did become confusing at times, so many dragons, ogres,centaurs and others, it was almost a short story.
Keep it up,perhaps a bit shorter next time, but most of all, keep the rhyming stuff going, love it.

this is very well written, mystery writer, you did a great job writing this lengthy poem about the dragon who plunged to his death rather than being locked in a prison and the king who was filled with vanity and hatred for the deformed. i enjoyed reading it. good luck in the contest

This really is not my type of reading about fantasy creatures and such, but I have to give it to you... as soon as I started reading, I had to see where this was going. The rhyme was so good and it just seemed to flow; I had a hard time stopping myself. Though the words were hard to pronounce, the storyline was good. Great job! Believe me, that's something coming from me on a topic as such as this. I won't watch this stuff on TV. It bores me. However, I did have one I liked very much called Dragon Heart I believe. Anyway, great artwork also! Thanks so much for sharing.

Whoa... That was long haha. It was good though, I was sucked in for the whole ride. I think it's a good story, and I like the fantasy spin on it. There were some places where the flow was a little bumpy, but that didn't really bother me. I think the rhyming was done well, and the picture is pretty sweet. Nice work.
