Love the image of all those Indian Blankets in the room. What a total sweetie Troy is. Anna is reviving, slowly but surely, thank goodness. So nice how she responds to her child. You described it well. It is one of the strongest bonds for sure.

another lovely chapter. It read quickly, and I see and end nearing. I hope there is an epilogue with the relationship between Anna and Troy. Again, didn't notice any nits of spags.

Yes, what you said at the end I have heard as well. Even knew somebody that took dogs in to help. But favourite songs and all these emotional things can be tried. Glad she is awake again.

I thought at first this would be your final chapter. I'm rather glad there's more to come.
Troy turned off the overhead light before he (turned - instead of using the same word twice in one sentence, maybe try something like flipped or switched here) on the wall light away from Anna's bed(,) dimming the room lighting.
