Very nicely done..sometimes quiet time isn't so bad when it earns you an 'all time best' on the site..pretty neat, huh? I like the rhythm, and flow of this poem. And, the very practical..in the moment..this is what I am doing type writing. With facebook and all our other technology we all can share in each other's highs and lows..here is hoping your low is now a high. Good work. :)

Gentleman,First, Welcome to FanStory. There are a lot of wonderful and talented writers on here. Now!! When you give someone less then 5 stars you need to tell them what you don't like about there writing.Or how you can improve it. By giving them less then that you hurt their ratings. And that is wrong when they have a good poem out there. It does make for hard feelings. There are laws and rules on the site about it. A lot of new people don't read them. I had to be told myself. I liked the poem, it told me what kind of day he was having
I did think there were to many self descriptive words,(I, I'll,I'm) I felt it could of been a better poem without so many of those.

Nice poem and message. I only gave you a four star because I thought you could of been a little more imaginative with your verses. While you captivated being sick well there was no lines that really popped for me. Just my opinion though. Nice work

I'm with you on hating to be sick. I was told that I'm in the beginning stages of cancer. They say its on the pancreas and liver. So I fully understand your feelings. I can't do much either. Lets pray for one another. Hugs,

I know how you feel as I had bronchitis about 4 weeks ago and it has taken this long to get better! But don't despair it will leave, of that I am sure. This is a delightful poem and I love the humor. Hi Chey, I had the flu for awhile and didn't stop to get better. But I always get bronchitis after the flu. I tried to explain that to the new doctor. But he says rest, breathe steam , and take what meds I can. It's the coughing that gets me. I am glad you are feeling better. It was the cough that got to me too! I finally bought some musinex and that broke it up. Ugh, I hate being sick!

Your poem really has an obvious expression about being sick.
Perhaps vocabulary with more enriched words would do better. However, the structure and rhythm of your writing is perfect.
