Great use of dialogue thoughout the entire story. The conversation flowed well and didn't seemed forced. Your storyline is good as well.

A wonderful post Barbara that allows us to get a glimpse at Anna since the ordeal with Bobby. Well penned from beginning to end.

The closing line touching, made me tear up!
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Barbara,

I hope Anna heard Troy say he loved her, if for no other reason than Michael that will make her fight harder. I am glad it seems Bobby will be put away for a very long time and I hope it happens soon. He is animal and has no business out of jail. I love Brian's picture, it is lovely and a perfect compliment for this chapter. Well done....blessings, chey

I'm saying six stars because of the drama in this chapter, but it applies to other sections as well. There just aren't enough 6's to go around!. The suspense over Anna's condition is handled very well through the action and dialogue. Glad they've found evidence of the chop shop and marijuana and possible other illegal operations by Bobby and his cohorts to put them away. Bad news that Anna is still in a coma, even though she was not the one that had a Code Blue. Sometimes the romance category has a lot of variations. I've read some of Nora Roberts' novels, and although there's romance there's often some element of mystery and threat to the heroine. My cat loves to sit by the computer and "help" me, although she's too old to be a nuisance. judi

These's kittens are just old enough that they want to play constantly, when not eating or sleeping. Of course, they want to be close to a human at all times. My husband is holding them while they're sleeping. We're not spoiling them, oh no!! LOL Thank you for the kind review.

PER USUAL-WELL WRITTEN, GREAT DIALOGUE WITH THE CHARACTERS MOVING THE PLOT ALONG DELIBERATELY. YOU MAY WISH TO LOOK AT THE ONE AREA WHERE YOU MENTION THE CHOP SHOP, MARIJUANA AND THE ILLEGAL STILL. MANY READERS MAY NOT KNOW MOONSHINE COMES FROM CORN. ASIDE FROM THAT, THE SCENES WERE DONE WELL AND SENTENCE STRUCTURE WAS GOOD.

TAKE CARE,

RAY

Waiting and not knowing is torture. I don't blame Troy for his impatience. We know Anna will be fine, and knowing Bobby is dead will do a lot to speed her recovery. Well written. :) nancy

Hi Barbara,

Your baddies certainly had an operation going for themselves - and the police never checked on the one on parole? That's plain culpable.

Hopefully you'll keep Anna's coma short, she deserves a break, and hopefully she'll have learned to listen to advice!

Patrick

Thank you for the kind review. In the US most paroles are overworked and people aren't checked on. Thank you for the kind review.

That seems to be a universal problem.

What good news that they can put Anna's ex away for auto theft, and for a long time.
will any of this effect Anna? - should be affect
Ms. Rodger's didn't code - drop the apostrophe.
I love that Troy is tender enough to declare his love for Anna but tough enough to want to beat the bastard who beat her :-) Brooke

A very satisfying chapter, barbara. Anna is in good hands, no one waiting to do her in, and Troy finally declares his love. So good to see Anna's future looking better. Great writing, as usual! Warm regards, Bev

Barbara,
Your praiseworthy chapter is masterfully written with terrific imagery. We learn along with Troy that Bobbie, Slim and Ted were into many illegal enterprises, such as a chop shop, Mary Jane growers and other dastardly deeds, wife abuse. How ironic the car gave the police the clue they needed. I immensely enjoy your, very good dialogue, great narrative voice, superb pacing and excellent detailed writing.
Comments: I would recommend your latest chapter to other reviewers to ready. Thank you for entertaining me in with your story telling. Keep on writing your entertaining book chapters with a creative pen. I wish you a lovely day, my friend. Enjoy the deserved six I'm finally able to give you, my dear. Nice day to you. BTW, Brandon graduated from high school last night & we gave him a graduation party with family & friends. My parents bought him a yummy vanilla cake with a delicious merengue icing I could eat. I think I'll eat me a piece in a few. Brandon is turning 18 on May 16, 2012.
Melissa.
