I enjoyed reading this story. It is sad how abuse is rampant in society involving adults and children. I found your work so believable, the characters were great. I feel so bad for Anna. Nice work.

I loved the suspense of the hospital waiting room in this chapter and also the mystery surrounding the chop shop and Anna's missing car.

Another great chapter. The dialogue between the characters is very natural and flows well.
I'm glad the code blue wasn't for Anna. You could feel the tension with Troy's pacing and just with the conversation between all of those in the waiting room.
Besides all that is happening, the reader is never allowed to forget the whole situation is caused by the Domestic abuse, which sucks in so many people, and causes pain to so many lives.

Aww, Barbara. It is a romance story, even with all the other stuff. I love this chapter, because it is a hopeful one for Anna, and well, Troy says it all in the last sentence. Good job as always. Jerri

Now Anna is free of Bobby and his friends. I had to agree it is too bad wife beaters don't suffer as much as their victim. Hubby and I were watching 'Persons of Interest' last week. Mr. Reese had a great solution for the wife beater, he placed drugs on him and the authorities in the country the man was sent to threw the book at him; some countries hold them until they die.
