How much is Anna going to suffer. Troy is a wreck and I feel for both of them. I'm glad Bobby and his mother got what they deserved. Yet I'm so afraid that this story may have too realistic an ending. Here's hoping I'm wrong.

Troy stared toward the recovery room double doors and crept [to] them. --- "Toward" means he didn't reach them, but he opens them so he got there.
That's mean to leave them sitting there for two hours wondering if Anna coded. ER personnel ought to have more consideration.

Thank you for another wonderful Chapter which truly outlines the affects of domestic abuse. I sincerely hope your decision to rethink the romantic classification does not take away from the story concept. I'm thinking that with a romantic view the woman becomes aware that if not treasured by one, she is surely capable of being treasured by another. I have enjoyed each Chapter read, keep up the good work,as it is truly worthy of the honors received.

My story will remain the same. I am just fearful that it doesn't fit a true romance novel.

An effective transitionary section to an interesting, compelling plot. Well written with good, believable dialogue. I liked the italicized thoughts and the way they were tastefully juxtaposed throughout the piece.
My favorite line... " I'm sorry the bastard could only die once." Really great!

I haven't read the whole thing, but I enjoyed what you posted here. The tension of a possible cold blue is enough to keep the reader moving along. I like the situation you are presenting in that you have a man who desires to rescue a woman who has been beaten. You are using your writing to promote the end of violence..what a wonderful idea. Keep going..looking forward to more. Now, I have to go back to Chapter 1!

I haven't read the whole thing, but I enjoyed what you posted here. The tension of a possible cold blue is enough to keep the reader moving along. I like the situation you are presenting in that you have a man who desires to rescue a woman who has been beaten. You are using your writing to promote the end of violence..what a wonderful idea. Keep going..looking forward to more. Now, I have to go back to Chapter 1!

Believe it or not an easy read although Im a newbie. I really hope Anna will realize if she doesn't kill her own demons she will bring them with her in this new relationship
We make our own choices and sometimes we revert to what we are familiar with..in her case being controlled and hurt
