Goodness how much is this poor woman supposed to take. Coma, beating, surgery, and now a code blue. Are you leading us to a fatal ending, or just tugging at our hearts one last time. Either way I need to know the outcome.

Anna still struggling to survive. Plot weaves Troy's past into storyline i.e. adopted. Cliffhanger effect used well at the end to carry reader on to the next Chapter. Well done, good flow. td

From one crisis to another. Poor Anna. When will it ever stop?
Nice insert about Troy's background, but maybe Paul should mention something about what a problem Troy was in the beginning to contrast with Michael. Since Michael is so little, he won't have those memories. Troy couldn't have been a model child in the beginning.

Great going. Anna is really messed up. Only one suggestion. Troy says...She's such a good person"..Sounds too impersonal. Maybe add something what they used to do. Or that she was always there to help or something.

Hello Barbara,
Good to read this chapter of your book. I enjoyed it even though I popped in on a middle chapter. I right away noticed how well you do dialogue and I liked the way you combine speech and thought. Great technique. The converstations flowed naturally and did not seem at all forced. This gave me an immediate "feel" for your story. Your last line did had a pull to it which arouses the reader's curiosity and leaves one wanting to read the next chapter. I can see I could learn much about good writing through reading yours! I really liked this chapter. One could feel Troy's angst and the tension while everyone waits to hear whether Anna will make it. I don't know what code blue is. Guess another emergency. Well written with good action. luv jada
