I love this. It is so neat when an animal in nature just appears and hangs around as if they have a message but no words. I really think G-d speaks to us in these situations, even if it is to say, "I am here, watching you." :) I love the red birds and the blue ones. Isn't it interesting that the male birds have more color? You'd think the females would be prettier. :)I guess the males need all the help they can get to find a mate. :)

Very nicely written poem about cardinals. The picture is perfect with the words you have chosen to write. We have cardinals in our back yard also, here in North Carolina. They can be seen from our kitchen table, beautiful birds.

Nice poem about Cardinals. They come to my yard every spring and are beautiful birds.
I know you will
be there
in my northern home
a symbol of freedom
a companion on
life's journey
Excellent!

I never thought too much of the cardinal's role in America's life, but you've made me see that species in a different light. Nice read.

This is such a very lovely poem you have written. I love cardinals too, I don't get to see many though. You did a great job giving the reader a sense of how nice your vacation was and how much you loved seeing cardinals there too. Well written, wonderful job!
