I am forever looking for my glasses. Thank God for hubby who walks in with them perched on his nose. Love that you carried the story with dialogue and two narrative paragraphs. What's next? A script? Great ending on this.

Hi Shari! How are you? I misplaced my keys again this morning. I did find them fairly quickly tho this time! Lol! God. I can't win. Hugs for this kind and fun review! I hope you're having some nice weather. It's cold and windy again here. Just awful, even with the sun out, it's cold. Hug!! Susan

Interesting. You state in the author's notes that this is not funny. ,,, Well.. I hate to say it. But I think it is. It definitely reminds me of myself every now and then.
Why do you think I have a "Don't forget your wallet" sign posted over the front door? :-) JW

As someone from a family who would all be headless, if not for the fact that said heads are attached to each member, I can relate to this clever and realistic depiction of two elderly sisters looking for lost glasses. The ending is perfect! Thanks for sharing this enjoyable piece!

This was well written and great to read... The "older citizens" do have so much that we can learn from them. It is sad when they pass away.
Great writing!

Hi there! I know...how right you are Dream. I wish my own dad had lived longer and could have shared all his wisdom and his life stories with my son. Sam has missed a lot. But, that's life. Thank you for this great note!! ") Susan

I enjoyed this immensely. I was looking for my glasses the other day and found them when I went into the bathroom to wash my face...I was wearing them. Maybe time for a new pair.

Hi Sasha! Oh I'm glad you liked this. I need new specs as well. I went to Lenscrafters one day....and they tried to sell me glasses and it would have cost over 700 bucks. NO way. I still use these old ones..but need to do something. I get so mad. There's no justification for that cost. Hang in there, you're not alone!! lol! HUGS, susan

Well! I actually do find this funny, the conversation was very well done and had me chuckling throughout at the frustration of putting something down and not remembering exactly where when you needed it. I thoroughly enjoyed this and thanks for the grin on my face this morning...Dinah

Hi Dinah! Oh good!! I've succeeded with this! I love that photo and it's so neat when you say you laughed. I'm glad. This is what makes writing fun. :D Hug! Susan

It is a darling poem - but not funny, as you say. I have become obsessive about putting things in certain places so I don't have to look for them frantically. My glasses...``sigh``
I look for them everywhere only to find them atop my head!!
Delightful write - well done.

Enjoyable read about two elderly sisters. One possibly forgetful, the other domineering. Both glad it's Sunday. One wanting to go the church. The other wishing to stay home from church, just one time.
