Very powerful message here, on this historic day. Talented work in your poem. Sadly all of it true. Thank you for sharing this. Well done

Excellent! Powerful poem reflecting the death and resurrection. I enjoyed the read. It's amazing how very few words can bring out a powerful message. Great Job

a perfect Cinquain for today with a
beautiful message wrapped up in
your lines.
If we don't die we won't "live" for
eternity. Christ taught by example.
Have a Blessed Easter, Brooke.

While the resurrection is the ultimate celebration in Christianity, it is important to remember the suffering and death that came first. Very well written.

Hello Brooke your lines
hope revived by new breath --
we're called to bear witness that first
came death.
to me is saying when Christ took his last breath it was a sign that his death freed us from sin?

A perfect cinquain. Great content and great poem.
Not only is it a relative topic but it is one point and directive without and superflous words. Your author's notes are very informative. We all know the glory and goodness that came from Jesus rising from the dead.

Good point! There'd be no miracle resurrection if it weren't for Good Friday. I always thought of this as a sad day, but when you realize it was what cleansed our sins, then it's not so sad... not for us, anyway. Very nicely done.

Hi Brooke,
This is a superb cinquain for Good Friday. You have told a complete story about His death and resurrection. Only a poet with your skills could have chosen the perfect words to do that. Bravo!! ****** Blessings, chey
