So much said in so few words. The Cinquain is a nice looking form when centered and does justice to your words.

It was a pleasure to read you this morning...Dinah

A reminder to all on this Easter weekend. Perfectly scribed with conviction and belief. From death came sweetness and love for all.
Thanks you for these understanding lines.

This is timely written for this Easter celebration. Happy Easter to you. Let every reader finds the meaning of the death of our Saviour from the Cross and then resurrected. This poem is an inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Brooke, for this short yet poignant testament to the significance of Good Friday/Black Friday for Christians. I thought it's message, so succinctly stated, was very strong. I am reminded of a child I once taught in children's choir at a church. When asked the message of Easter, Jimmy said, "That is when Jesus rolled the rock away." And so it is! I've never forgotten that fresh look at Easter. Have a blessed one! Karen

Dear Brooke,
All of the requirements of the cinquain plus rhyme and metre. I admire your faith, which you so strongly proclaim.

I like the stark simplicity and wisdom of this cinquain.
Many choose to ignore the fact that death must come before resurrection, as it applies personally to following Jesus. And you helpfully model the cinquain form itself. Blessings and happy Easter. Love, Jeanie

A thoughtful lesson in poetry, Brooke. And congratulations on the awards. Your poetry always encourages me to try the form, and I find there is more poetry coming out of my keyboard than narrative! Thank you for being the inspiration. Mary :)
