Lovely rhythmic quatrains, Brooke
that contain a sense of fun and
frivolity surrounding the Sun's
daily rising and setting times.

Brought a welcome smile to my dial
on a day such as this.

Thank you for sharing.

This is beautiful, Brooke! I love the competition going on with Day and Sun.

My favorite line is: "He signs his name in crimson ink"

Awesome it is Brooke. It is a great write in quatrains that tells of the sun and where she goes at night. Wonderful it is and the best part was this:

He signs his name in crimson ink
until the skies are burning,
a proclamation to us all
his light is soon returning.

Wonderful.

I love this personification of day and the sun. It's very cute to portray the sun as being somewhat vain and day as being very practical in closing up shop.Nice rhyme pattern. Good rhythm. Good job!

Brooke, Your imagination creates deep thoughts to inspire you to write such a brilliant piece. I have never thought of the Sun in that way, but now that you have penned it, I can see that it is true. Very clever. Carole
