I loved the fantasy element of your poem and the early verses evoked a fresh delight in the beauty of gardens and plants. It became a bit repetitive with so many verses and lost its freshness. By the time I got to your point I was a bit wearied with reading it all. A great effort.

This was very well written, with a very masterful use of language and skill with a gentle rhyme (like a fairy's wings). You gave the reader a depth of imagery that was very colorful, elaborate and sensual. I really liked the ending- and I was wondering if the poem was going to take that direction. I am glad that it did! Great effort! Holly

This was outstanding creativity. I loved this story so much. There are so many good lines I can't even pick one. I loved the ladyslippers and feasting on the aphids. I loved the dancing on the fairy mound and flies buzzing near a log and lunch for a little frog. It was all so good. The last paragraph was a little evilish for fairies, but it all worked in well ... just well written and such creativity. Applause Applause! A+ and 6 ****** for you!

An excellent little tale, Cindy.
This more than just a poem, you could easily have this illustrated and turned into a children's tale.
I can imagine a teacher going over the poem, pointing out all the names of different flowers and plants, even the different parts of the flowers.
Fairies always excite children, and get their imagination running.
