The author has vividly narrated the horrified condition of Anna , under the extreme torture condition. The hot ward exchange in between Anna and Bobby has dramatically narrated. The cruelty of Bobby to wards Anna was an extreme case of abuse and violence to wards woman.

I'm violently ill after reading your fast paced and very violent chapter. I hope that bastard Bobbie gets shot between the eyes by a sniper. The only way to stop a violent abuser is six feet under. Abusive men make me sick. I know of a case where the woman was the abusive one. This chapter didn't bode well for Anne. I hope she's rescued before Bobbie does too much damage. In your chapter you used the following:
Narrative: excellent
Sentence Structure: great
Characterization: excellent
Dialogue: very good

Sadly, you have barely touched the monstrous abuses some of these women have suffered through. As you might recall, one enraged father recently killed his wife, then their two boys and himself, burning their house as well.
Nicely done, presently your theme quite expertly.

- Bobby threw the broken frame and canvas out the glass sliding door.
A minor quibble. I might think the glass sliding door was probably open when he threw the savaged painting away, through the opening, or past, the glass sliding door.

Bobby has an unusual way of punctuating sentences. Very well written Barbara. I'm not sure why he said 'you're my wife' but everything else meshed together good in a realistic storyline.

A very interesting read. As I am new here I haven't read anymore of this book but I will look for more chapters as you are obviously a writer who tells a story well. Don't worry about strong language. People under stress talk that way. It is natural.

This is a very powerful chapter! I can "feel" Anna's pain and I can "see" Bobby's rage and hatred. You painted the perfect picture of domestic abuse from all perspectives.
