I stepped in here to read because of voting for book of the month and I am not sorry that I did. It is very good story telling and domestic abuse is a disgusting state of affairs and it breaks my heart. Thank you for the read tonight.

Hi Barbara,Things are finally coming together. It's odd how Bobby would leave Michael outside and just push Anna inside. He hasn't even looked out to get him. Is he expecting one of his partners in crime to snatch Michael?

Bobby never really cared for Michael. Michael was just in his way. That was established at the beginning of the novel. He main focus right now is to kill Anna for all she's put his through. Thank you for the kind review.

This is a well written and violent chapter.
You did a great job with this chapter; showing Anna growing courage to talk back to Bobby. You did a well portraying Bobby here. Hope some one came and rescued Anna.

Poor Anna just can't catch a break. Unfortunately, all too often it works this way in the real world too. This is very well written with excellent dialogue. The anger I felt while reading is all the proof I need that you've done an excellent job getting your point across--
