This picture and poem combo also made my day. I was especially delighted to see the pretty pale female cardinal with red lipstick on her beak. I often see the male cardinal, but not the female, so this is a treat. Hope they are going to make cute baby cardinals together. Spring has sprung. Love your friend Vonnie

You give a lovely description of what you get out of watching the birds. They are certainly worth watching, as the lovely photo indicates. The birds offer a great way to reduce the workplace stress. I find watching my cats has a similar effect on me, as they sometimes look so relaxed. Beautiful wording in this includes "guardians of my soul." You also present an excellent description of the birds as they signal happiness. judi

They are lovely birds, and I was lucky enough to see some when I visited friends in Kentucky a few years back.
