Here I am dropping my sixer to you!!! Bravo! I know what you feel about the swimsuit. I'm a naive on my younger aged and embarrassed to wear two piece or even one piece swimsuit never less I can't even swim because of that. Even though people around me, saying that I got a body to display any time that can turn heads around. Never ever had a guts to wear that my jeans and tshirt. I got married and had kids, now I can say I'm much daring to do anything now, but that displayable body was gone. Ive wasted the time that I can do anything, hourglass can't be turn upside down to the same time it just continues to a new click of time. Reading this one gave me a positive thought, hopefully I can have your fighting spirit as well!!!

What the whole thing has taught me, is that we are sometimes better than we think! I wouldn't say that the experience has made me feel beautiful, just a lot more confident than I was. I'm sure you could do just the same, just as easily. I'm beginning to feel that I'm the one who was 'ageist' in believing my 'alluring' days were over. Now you have me wondering what it was that you were praying for...I Know that God has a sense of humor and sometimes the answers we get are not exactly what we were looking for, but none-the-less it is still an answer. Then your attempts to enter the dating arena after the death of your husband. That was some response you got after posting your swimsuit photo on your dating site. Amazing! My children have been wonderful, and my daughter's 'go girl' encouragement has been what has seen me through the darkest hours since I lost my husband. I do so hope you're right, I would hate to spend another New Years like that! Thank you so much. Alexis x

Thank you, Kate. I wasn't sure if I should even write about it but I had to write an article for 'That's life magazine today, so thought I might as well let my friends on fan story see what I'd written first. Personally, I can't wait for life to return to 'normal' Alexis x

The crazy thing is, I deleted it all when I knew that the press had got hold of it and were making such a fuss. If I'd wanted that kind of exposure I would have been delighted, but at fifty seven, I find it all a bit embarrassing! Yes, a huge amount of messages were from guys in their thirties and forty's, which I find seriously weird! I'd rather be a tiger on fan story, than a cougar in the real world!
