Wonderful and flighty imagery is presented in this well written and spirited poem. I particularly like the poem's last line.

It is really too bad that so many things are left unsaid between people. Little things, sometimes silly things, can really make another's heart happy. This is a poem worth remembering and applying it's lesson to life. Well done! Blessings, Linda

This is a very uplifting poem...it conveys hope to someone who might have been heartbroken and lost all faith in love! I am going to share this with my friend later...she needs to see this hope! Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderfully romantic love song. I like the way you use the "ire" rhymes at the end of each verse to connect the verses. It is like reading through the maturing of a love relationship starting out light-hearted in the first two verse, maturing into something deeper and long lasting toward the end. A beautiful refrain of gratitude. Do you have music for this? Well done.

pounding it out on the sidewalk...

well done in the writing of this ...

do you have someone to sing it? I write these things all the time, but no one to sing them. :-(

    Thanks for once again having a bit of a look at some of my stuff.
    I usually sing them but just need a bit more collaboration for full instrumentation...or I can just sing it to myself as is the norm! ha
