Nice alliteration in strutting and dance floor and fowl and plate. My Mom has chickens and they defiantly bounce and dance. Then we eat them! lol-squid

Good picture..sometimes it's fun just to let the mind have a little fun...they used to have dancing chickens in the circus but I heard the had them standing on a little hot plate and as it got too warm they would hop around like they were dancing..surely the practice has been stopped. God bless.

This made me laugh and it brought memories of the chickens we used to raise. Although all for bringing eggs, each of them had their own name. I love your line "not to be served on the dinner plate". Nice work.

I love it. So well written, so much fun. I love the part about not being dinner. The animal lover in me just loves that. I am picturing them all, on stage, in NYC!! That would be just lovely! Too funny. It has great flow and rhythm and inspires the imagination and it humanizes our friends the birds. Wait, did I just insult the birdie community? Probably! Very nice.
