Congratulations on finishing the book. That is no small accomplishment. With this last post, you tie all the pieces together. This is really a great story and I enjoyed every post. Well done. The 6 is for the book overall and not just for this post.

Hello, my friend. I am relieved that I'm not under the 'gun' to post regularly as I pretty much wrote the story by the seat of my pants as they say. But I have a lot of editing work ahead of me. Meanwhile, I'm going to be putting out a new project very soon on the site.

This has been a wonderful story, Bev, even just the last part that I was privileged to read. I liked the way your conclusion covered all the characters because that is very satisfactory for a reader. Another project in the wings -- a novel I started a few years back but never finished. The first chapter will be out next week.
Thanks, Kay, for your kind insights and encouragements. Yes, I am feeling a bit sad today, but I will be living with the novel for some time yet as I work to edit it for (hopefully) publication.

Bev, his epilogue brought tears to my eyes! One, because you wrapped everything up so nicely, and two, I will miss this amazing thriller. I must confess, I got a bit of a chill with Edward Pearce's body being donated to science. I wouldn't want to be the medical student cutting into that body. A six foot spider could emerge!

Marietta, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your encouragement, support and generosity. I thought I'd feel a bit relieved when I typed THE END, but was surprised at feeling lost a bit -- and sad. I think that's why I waited so long to post the epilogue. BTW, I used your format as inspiration.
Well, as we've discussed, on to other projects. I'm lucky to have a wonderful friend and ally in you.

Jay, thank you for this most gracious reply. I don't think there's much at all I could 'teach' a very fine writer like you!
I'm not going to be doing a sequel for probably six months or so. I'll be busy whipping my current novel into shape with the help of an editor. However, I do have an old novel I didn't finish that will provide lighter material and a different kind of challenge. That's up next.
