Hi, barbara. This chapter moves along at a great pace. The dialogue sounds realistic. Anna seems to be holding up pretty well although she's afraid the threats won't stop until she's dead. It's a tense situation. You had it right about the police. They seem reluctant to investigate a situation until the person is dead. Too bad they can't respond more readily. Great work. judi

Now they're doing it right! I lived through a situation exactly like this and one of the first things I did was write out a will. I found out that you can say in a will who you want caring for your kid, but if there is a surviving parent, they get the final say. At least that is the law in Ohio. It sucks.

I'm becoming a bit more worried about Troy. To hurt him out of spite and therefore hurt Anna could be on Bobby's friend's minds. I'm glad Anna is being well watched. I wish all abused women had this possibility. Thanks for another lovely chapter.
