Bye Bye Nick. I can't say anybody will miss the sicko. But, all that aside this was a really good story and good writing by you.

Thank you so much! This was a lovely message to come back to after a Fan Story free weekend. The thing is, are you sure he's dead? My thanks again for reading and your wonderful six. Alexis x

OK now I have reserved this sixth star until today. It has been a remarkable book and Nick should have been shot in the nuts twice in the chest and once in the head just to let him know how much I hated him. You are a superb author. Your book is engaging, and thrilling. Please let me know when it is published. I'd like to have it from a WORLD CLASS AUTHOR

A huge thank you, Bear for this, and all your other encouraging reviews. It feels really strange not posting at least one chapter a day. I might have to dig another one out of the archives! Take care until our paths cross again, love Alexis x

I wanted to give you a six for finishing the book, but I don't have one available.

I just thought of something else, a lot of tires now have GPS in them as well.

After ten minutes[,] Nick hammered on the door[,] sending the vibration of his fist on the wood through Lisa's body.

On that occasion[,] she had worn them to please him. But this time[,] she was his prisoner, and she didn't want him to touch her.

and this time[,] a very different type of shudder passed through her.

Alan had waited behind a hedge, fifty metres or so from the chalet, for over ten minutes. Nothing had happened. Every second was agony[,] and eventually,
convinced that the police had waited too long to act, he pulled his mobile out of his pocket and stared at it.

Nick had turned Lisa [A]round to face him and was slipping one of the straps off her shoulder when her mobile went off. At first[,] Nick ignored it, but when

She just hoped against hope[] that she could think

"Lisa[,] are you okay...?"

"If you touch her again[,] I'll fucking kill you!" Alan shouted down the phone. --- When does Alan get close enough for them to hear him through the walls?
I'm glad you finished with her wearing the red dress. that gives meaning to the title.

Thank you so much for this and all the other really helpful reviews, Roberta. I must admit the last few days have been very strange. I'm having a few days off and then getting back to the drawing board. I hope all is well with you. Take care. Alexis x

I have learned a lot reading this. Your chapters are short and snappy, the dialogue feels real and you hold the readers attention and maintain the suspense. You should be so proud of this and I hope you get the rewards you deserve.

The revulsion she felt made every nerve ending in her body react, and this time a very different type of shudder passed through her./Nice----her tears coursing down her cheeks, every salty droplet saturated with the love she felt for him./Great!----What do you think of this ending? "I bet that I'll love you for longer than forever----I so thoroughly enjoyed reading this work of art. Like I said, if you get it professionally edited before you try to shop it to publishers, it will increase your chances. If it happens, let me know, because I'll buy your first autographed copy. Keep writing though, even if it's not another book. That's how we get better. I was saving this six star for your last chapter. Great show, Axel

I. Never. Cry. At. Weddings... so why do I want to sob now? The ending is perfect.... ALMOST!! Was the best man Richard? It should be. What became of Freak Boy? Was Cruella at the wedding? If so, was she sloshed? Or did she turn a leaf in rehab and now she's a sassy mother theresa who almost nauseates people with her kindness? Oh, delicious things to ponder for a possible sequel!!!

Perfect! I love red and white. How beautiful, the story and the ending. Love that was won under those circumstances would have a better chance of surviving all the rocky roads that will likely come along. Loved your writing, Alexis. It was just perfect!

Okay, I thought the end would be little more dramatic; still a good story overall. I've enjoyed this tale of "The Red Dress.' Thanks for sharing it and the best to you in the future.

By the time Dave pulled off at the turn off for Short Grove, Alan... How about trying:- By the time Dave pulled off at the turn for Short Grove. OR: - By the time Dave pulled onto the turn off for Short Grove..... Try and remove one of those 'off's'. They are fighting each other.:-)
