Your poem is very touching and has very believable images in it. Winter is a sullen time and when one is sick it becomes worst. Your story has good description of the sadness but also the rejoicing that comes through Jesus our Savior. Blessings Rita

This is wonderful and hopeful. It is well written and Hope things are better. Spring is a cleansing time, a fresh time, holding the promise of new life, and yes, the scent is tha of damp earth and flowers. I do not like winter, but it is beautiful to view, and has Christmas to make it glorious. Your piece is well written, flows well, reads easily and is poignan and hopeful. Thank you for allowing my comments.

Hi Judy - I enjoyed your essay. It was a bit melancholy, but so is a winter day. I'm not sure I've seen your posts before. Bill

First of all, nice photo for the entry. I have not seen a writing like this before. I did like it. I only gave four stars because i think it needs more 'detailed description' and maybe a little longer....but maybe not longer if the descriptive detail was a little better

This was all I had to say on the subject and prefer righting tight and not wordy. Thanks for reading and sharing your opinion.

A nice piece on winter and the hope of spring. Is your husband okay now? I'm sorry if I missed that but I did not see it in your notes or writing. I used to keep journals, too. I always find it comforting to look back at the trials I was facing and see how God has brought us (me) through them. I enjoyed your essay.

Thank you for this kind review. I have been journaling for years and also find comfort when I go back and see what was going on in the past. My husband died Feb 18, 2011 - but I am finally in the spring time season. God is so good. -Judy

I am so sorry for your loss but glad that you have come through it with spring in your heart. Yes, God is good.
