Oh that was so sad to think of the loyal loving dog going to his doom. I am a major dog lover so this really tugged at my heart. I wish people would spay and neuter, but sadly so many don't. Just a great, sad story.

Oh, that's mean, heartless and shameful: all around I guess. Sounds like the Dog was the only friend she had left so I'll add stupid to the list as well. Well written story.

I mean this in a nice way...I hate you. I did not enjoy your story. I was mortified and horrified and nearly crying. I know your message is strong, but it knocked me off my feet. I wish I had a 6 to give you though for evoking such heat inside me. Great job! Ginger

Hi Ginger! It's okay...I cried too at this photo...and had to write something to bring attention again, to this CRIME. Crime. People are broke now, people who are just like you and I are now going on welfare...where I used to live in southern Indiana, they were taking horses to Brown county state park and letting them out so the others who would come to ride would take them in. And we owe TRILLIONS of dollars to CHINA. I blame ALL OUR politicians...ALL of them. I'm so sorry to upset you this much, but I guess it's good. Love your pets and others too...IF you can, help somehow? LOVE, Susan

Hello Margaret! How are you? I know...me too. If I could afford it I would send money. I have sporadically, but there are so many, and I can't give money away all the time? I wish I could win a huge lotto...I'd donate at least a hundred grand. OH well. Can understand how this photo of a lonely sad dog inspired you to this Flasfiction. So sad for the lady as well and she mad a hard decision on the dog. I thought even beggars usually kept there dogs.

Hi Chris! I know, this photo is just heart wrenching. I'm glad I drew emotions from this, but let's hope this beautiful dog is safe now?? I often wonder. I have been homeless in rain just like this too. And it's cold. Unforgiving and so lonely. Thank you Chris...Susan
