It is hard work, write and rewrite and then criticism can be severe. We are crushed when we think we have a masterpiece and the reviews do see the poem in the same light. Your poem continues the poet's journey of struggle.

Hello again Sir Bic
I truly enjoyed the premise of this engaging poem. Being an old fart, It would have helped it the font was larger. That aside, it was superb

Been there when you rewrite and correct only to be disappointed. Your poem describes the poet's life well and has good images of how hard a poet tries. Very smooth flow and your photo compliments your poem well> Blessings Rita

A very beautiful chronicle of the journey that a writer/poet makes as they write, seek recognition, are hopeful and then have that hope dashed. A poem that will easily be personally subjective to many on F/S.

Excellent job of using beautifully expressed poetry to convey this poor poets heart ache at having his best work turned into nothing by critics. I don;t think this should happen, everyone see's art differently...excellent job very well done

This was a very good story in a poem, that was a fun experience to read. It is true in so many ways! Great job, and good luck with your future writing!

I like the idea of your art here. I agree to compliment the growing flowers to your title, it works. Your color background is just too dark to present a "life" maybe just replace it to something lighter. (just a suggestion)

It is in fashion with the rest of the chapters and if it is read from chapter one to the end I think youll find it rather compliments the narrative...just my suggestion.

Hi

Poems are like children. They are precious to their parents regardless of their faults. Criticism is difficult to take and a defensive reflex is far to often finds a well meaning critic.

I think what I was trying to convey is of a simillar vain...the poet`s work is his or hers and so long as they enjoy and appreciate it it will always have a home , for them anyway....
