What a cute picture of your sweetheart
Your poem is in good 5/7/5 form
I like the consonance of hard C sounds in secret/reek
quiet
It is nice that you keep each other's secrets :-) Brooke

Hi, Jan. Excuse my ignorance but is the secret the fact that she is drinking a beverage in the living room? LOL...I don't know. Cute poem in any event, I get the idea. Bob

Bob: actually, the poem has nothing to do with the picture other than she resembled my dad so much when he was drinking that it seemed to fit -- this was just about secrets, in general -- love, jan

Cute, cute and more cute. Your poem is adorable. I think the saying what happens at Grandma's stays at Grandma's is very appropriate. Don't you?

barbara, it's been a long time since you told me I made you smile and giggle -- you don't know how much I love hearing that -- she reminded me so much of my daddy when he was half-lit in this picture, I just could not resist -- love, jan

LOL well we know what it isn't, Jan. She adorable and will very well keep her grandma's secrets ... until she is older. Then, expect everyone of them to come tumbling out.

Secrets are no longer secrets when they are spoken. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very easy read.

Jan, umhuh. We grandmas got to spoil them, don't we.
Yes, if only the parents knew. We might be in a lot
more trouble. I can concur on this.

Oh, oh, Grandma and Lexi keeping "secrets" from Mom and Dad? Ha! Someone is bound to let the cat out of the bag! Cute little poem and picture. P.S. Those "secrets" are the best.
