Though this poem is meant to show your new life after an accident, it could also describe the transformation after physical death to the spiritual realm.
This was absolutely breathtaking in its storyline - simple words used to create the most impact. One of the most stunning prose poems I have read recently.

This one started as a crack, a single solitary line in the glass of my life. Developing tentacles, it spread, shattering all that had been, was expected/What a great word picture----Self-serving rock of materialism and power struck down,/How well I appreciated that feature in my own life. Well done.

It is a nicely written prose poem expressing "hope against hope" for a better life after a miracle escape from an unwanted circumstances prevailing for a short time. The author has fantastically expressed the then situation of a bad period of life in a vivid manner. It is extremely inspiring.

Now this could be real tricky but it appears you have done a grand job of it...it's too much for my limited ability at this point. I still dealing with acrostics..didn't even know they existed until I started reading and reviewing poems. Great job. God bless.

this is beautiful even without your description of a life changing event. I've had catastrophic events in my life. I look back and barely recognize the person that lived before. Your insight is keen.
