Hello Alvin,
This is a truly beautiful poem. It so aptly expresses the deepest of feelings and does gracefully. I love the triolet form and the way it uses repitition for emphasis. Your remarkable poem does the format full justice.
Warm congrats on your win. Hugs, W ^-^

Such a beautiful triolet. I loved every line of this poem, and every word. It had special meaning to me because of what we've been going through this week. A very good friend just lost her husband (he was my husband's best buddy) and she's been staying with us for a few days, getting ready for his memorial which is tomorrow. I know you no doubt had other thoughts in your mind when you wrote this, but the words were so meaningful to me and that's one of the things I love about poetry. It can mean something different to each reader, when you've used just the right words, which you obviously did here. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on the second place contest win too. Well deserved, for sure.

Sad to say I like your poem - and will give you a six - even if you gave me a 2 before. Nice rhyming pattern and sweet flow. The refrain is most romantic. Congrats on your win.

Thanks for an exceptional review; I am highly honored. Now about that two...Could I interest you in course on the Japanese forms? You already write religious poetry quite well (for which, if meory serves me, I gave you a five...)

How very wonderful for you! Congrats
on a most beautiful and tender triolet.
You have surpassed the moment in time
that brings our memories to the surface
and dwell on what you will keep
in your memory forever.
This poem flows with a powerful message
and meaning beyond love.
Best of luck always, Marie

Congratulations on placing second. This is a
lovely Triolet expressing sorrow over a love
lost.
The repeating lines are woven through the
poem smoothly.
A poignant, touching piece. Well done. Nancy

Alvin, this is gorgeous..wistful, melancholy, and beautifully crafted. I especially like "you dwell in time that does not end"....so true that love is timeless, no matter the momentary form it takes..truly devoid of linear measure. I do so love the triolet form.

Hi Alvin! I think this my first time reading one of your posts. This is a lovely triolet. I am a huge fan of the triolet form. I use it often. I love that you used 8 syllable lines and iambic tetrameter. My favorite way to do it :) Congrats on second place in this contest. This is a lovely entry.

Yes, I prefer the French way to write the triolet (and often write them in French.) Thanks for a great review.
