I realize I have not read any of this novel until now. This is my first reading and I found it very 'there', as if I am watching a movie. The story flows well and seems to move along as it should. However, you need to get into something exciting or a hint as to what is going to happen soon. Is this a love story/novel? I hope it turns out well for this couple and Michael. Good writing.

Domestic abuse are the new dirty words of this century. As we evolve, we are supposed to start being decent and gentle human beings. But the opposite has happened. Abusive relationships, whether of a husband and wife or parents with wild children,are becoming regular features inthe media these days. There is so much of impatience, intolerance rampant in our society that its frightening! You have brought out the sinister aspect in your story very well. What happens next? So good to see Anna and Troy spending time together. Since I've missed so much I wonder if this is their first kiss, it seems it could be. The muffler made me as nervous as it did Anna, I see Bobby is still harassing her, that can't be good.

Barbara, I just love these two as always. They seem to have such a nice easy relationship. Your dialog and interaction between them is lovely as always... and loved the ending and her wanting that kiss. Looking forward to more.
