One of the best poems I have ever read in fanstory. Its beautiful. I especially loved the way it ended. Yes we all do know the colors of our soul.

This is a very fine poem, Chosen Colors
The rhyme are very good in abab pattern
The meter flows nicely and reads extremely well
The theme is carried out consistently through the poem
Emotions come in many colors,
sorrow for one may be joy to another
Blue may be sad or a beautiful sky,
cobalt or cerulean, baby or navy
Great picture to accompany the poem
framed in the color of the sunset
Very well done.

A beautiful poem expressing the colors of our emotions and how they affect all of us in different ways. Wonderful flow and use of words.

Thank you for sharing the colors of your soul. I do not find it silly at all. I do think it is important to keep searching the colors of creation and maybe find your place in the rainbow.

I like Blue because of the deity. Purple because of it's Royalty. Your poem is right on. It moved well reaching for the sky. I thought of the Rainbow and the promise God made to us. Well done poet. This is good.

I absolutely love the flow and rhythm of this. Also the changing colours like photographs black and white to sepia to technicolour and then the colours drain away again. Thank you for sharing. invisible.touch x

Wearing a multicolored coat to wrap your soul in as you relate your poem to the reader. Good cadence and good rhymes where both enhance your theme.

I enjoyed this write, right up until the end ... when I wasn't quite sure of the "conclusion" - we have someone whose colors are dank and dark, but they're still able to respond to a beautiful sunset ... is it that they can still RECOGNIZE bright colors, even if they, themselves, dont' feel them??

Indeed you can write a very good poem. We all don't see through the same pair of glasses and see the same thing. We choose our words different and separate from others to describe the same thing. Blue does seem as a common word to describe sorrow and sadness. But you're right in what you say, it could be any color. Just as you know the colors of your soul. Nobody knows you better than yourself. Enjoyed your poem and picture. Thank you.
