Thanks Michael. If does seem like my life is kind of feast or famine. :o) I have some of the most boring days and then I'll have one that is waaay too much excitement. LOL I'm a school nurse at a very busy elem. school with lots of special needs kiddos. Seizures, vomiting, allergic reactions, asthma attacks...etc, etc. all part of a normal day. :o) Glad you could relate to my poem. :o)

Stuck in the "brig" of work! I can relate to that. ;) You have great illusions here - I love your poem; it is humorous and speaks to a lot of people! I especially like the last stanza, although they are all good and you do an excellent job with end rhyme.

For a poem created just because of boredom, I like it, funny, imaginative, well written. The rhyming of it makes it flow through all the stanzas well. Great!

Great! we all do that. High expectations are soon squashed down to manageable ones. One attribute that human's have is the capacity to dream.

Very clever. I do know what that feeling can feel like. But trust me when I say. It's more boring not to be working. Because when you've done all you want to do in life. There's nothing left. You have to start over. Great write. Well written.and very cute!!!!

Amen Sister! You've given voice to everyone who chooses to trade hours of life for dollars. 'Course, I work with toys, so I really don't have a reason to complain, but I've shared the feelings in this poem before.
Well done! Thanks!

I think anyone who works have felt this way one time or another. However, got to be careful what I complain about. Today, so busy. Oh well, feast or famine. :o)
