This is a happy, lively portrait of a child with all sorts of energy and youthful high spirits. How wonderful that he's now learning to apologize for the unintended consequences of his enthusiasm. Perhaps someday he'll learn to think about them before hand and adjust his trajectory, at least. :D Nancy

Very good story about Bobby. he seemed a good boy doing all the physical exercises that he needed to keep fit he he knew that. Initially, I thought he would turn out to be a very good boy, but his habits provoked many as well.
The took everything to be done fast, running, fast, racing, fast... Maybe he learnt a lesson when he inconvenienced Mrs Pepper. I hope he did.
That was a good story, I enjoyed it.

Hi Japhet! Many thanks. I'm very glad you enjoyed this tale of a child who has Downs Syndrome. I tried to get inside his head, these kids are usually so lovable, but have problems...thank you again! :) Susan

I love the exuberance of this write. It is a breath of fresh air to read and I could feel the pounding feet on the hot sticky pavement and see that wilting bouquet of flowers and a contrite little boy. Well done! xoxo Kiwi

It's all a kid's world for youngsters up to the age of ten, then, over time, they are brought into the boring world's of adults. This is well written.

Hi Charlie! Yes...how true! Kids lose their 'joy', or innocence all too soon. But kids with Downs seem to be bubbly longer...maybe they can't grow up as fast? I don't know. Just glad you enjoyed this...Susan
