Some Days

This is an interesting poem. It makes the reader think about comparing the various colors to the main mood of the day. Today it is sunny, yet the trees are bare and it is cool.
Thus, I guess I have a rainbow. JW

I think you've come up with a new form of poetry, a rainbow poem. I like how you use different colors to describe the days. It give the read a positive tone. The couplet rhyming in each quatrain is well thought out, and gives the poem a comfortable rhythm. I like how in the 2nd to last quatrain, you take the color black and turn it around, to end with a brighter feel. The back ground color and artwork are good choices. xxx deb

Debbie, You did a very good job in this colorful poem. You combined whimsical lines with more serious ones to deliver the message that "colors" always manage to come back to us if we don't panic and "wait a while." Truly a lesson in patience and hope. Blessings, Hector

The rhyming couplets in your quatrains are strong
good use of alliterative groupings like some, smiley, sunny
What a wonderfully cheerful and colorful picture you paint
good alliteration in wedding white and many more
I like your hopeful closing and thoughtful message :-) Brooke

Beautiful artwork and a lovely poem to match. I like the way you used the colors to describe the days and the words you used to paint a picture of your own. Good work

Winter is basically white, although I think the winter color in TX is grey and brown. LOL I enjoyed reading your poem. The rhythm and rhyming scheme were very good.

It seems to be a mood piece. You know, like it follows your mood for the day. Don't worry or give up, the mood will change tomorrow.

I enjoyed reading your very colourful poem Deb. It is cleverly written and very well thought out. The picture with the rainbow matches your words perfectly.

What a beautiful exploration of colors and how they can affect and motivate us, as well as what they represent. I like the specific examples which help me visualize the colors, such as the mushroom and wedding dress.
