I thought it was a good chapter. You are right, every chapter doesn't need a cliff hanger. Some chapters need to be calm and low key, like life is. Every day in real life isn't exciting or dangerous. Thank Goodness!

Troy is a godsend to this young woman, though he'll have to let her handle things by herself eventually. But for now, it's great that Anna has such a wonderful family looking out for her. Excellent chapter, as usual, barbara. Kind regards, Bev

Indicating that this is part three of a chapter makes it easier to review properly. You're right, there is no fancy ending, but I did manage to feel the tense relief that Anna experienced coming home alone with her son. Troy was a perfect gentleman, no pressure, a guardian for the mother and son. I already hope they find themselves together further on in the book. You haven't put too much description, just the bare minimum to know what's going on in-between Anna's thoughts and the dialogue. It's a nice, easy read and did end satisfactorily for me. Good luck to Anna, it sounds like she had it rough.

I personally don't like reading a bunch of descriptions. I think it destracts from the story. Thank you for the kind review.

This is a really needed interval in the story, and emphasizes the characters and their values. I am glad you are not hurrying through crisis after crisis, and I really like the bubble bath.

I think I've picked up on her anxiety..when she heard the sound and deemed it just the baby I had this undercover fear maybe someone had gotten into the house while she was gone. Good chapter and I'm glad it didn't have a hair raising ending, my nerves can only handle so much of that and this basically fiction..can you imagine what I'd be like if it was for real..the thing is..it is real for way too many women and children. Glad you had a great time and I'm glad you're home too. God bless.

Not every chapter is going to have a cliff hanger - it wouldn't seem like real life. That's the funniest things about soap operas - the characters are always in a state of red alert as if they live no normal days. LOL Brooke :-)

Thanksgiving was great, but I am extremely tired. I think it will take me to Christmas to get caught up again. LOL. How are you doing?

Okay, both Joe and I had a hard year with our jobs. We have none right now, but doing okay, and what do us dumb-asses decide to do? We adopted a puppy. Okay, he's adorable and we love him. In my lap right now, but really, what are we thinking? Just that life's to short to be misrable, and h makes us smile all day long. Please don't stress the holidays, just enjoy.
