For me is wonderful, all time i follow this novel i have question if Ana and Troy would get to unite their lives in peace and love. For I see that if, because every time are closer. I loved, congrats.

I surely hope that sound was just Michael rolling over. Somehow, I don't think it was. Another good chapter. I look forward to the next.

It's nice to hear you had a good thanksgiving weekend.
As for this post, although short it made good reading. You wrote about the noise of a loud muffler that caused Anna some discomfort. How is it relevant? Or have I missed something?

The loud muffler is very relevant or I would not put it in. Bobby had a loud muffler....I won't give it away. Thank you for the kind review,

Barbara,

What? No big cliffhanger? No, "Look out! Bobby escaped from jail"? All the same, this is exceptional, character-based romance.

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter and have one wordsmithing suggestion:

"Anna rubbed [held] her stomach." No nits here, but I usually take someone's rubbing their stomach as a sign of satisfaction or a full belly.

Good chapter, barb. Sometimes, just reading about an abused person participating in a normal activity and rejoicing in the freedom to do so is a thrill in itself. It must be such a horror to never feel safe in your own home. You remind me of that every time I read one of your chapters. Well done, girl.

Maybe not a cliff hanger, but the reader still feels a sense of danger. I guess like an victim of abuse, you never lose that fear of things going too well! The characters and story line continue to educate and entertain.

Hi, Barbara, I found myself always on the watch while reading Anna's story...:) Fortunately nothing bad happens today. It's interesting to have a peek to the result of years of abuse to a woman.

Another great chapter. I am so glad that you are adding personal feelings for everyone. I hope the sound was nothing. It is good bait.

Great chapter, barbara. Your characterization of Anna seems right-on. She still has fears about Bobby even though he's in prison. She shows great love for her son and it's natural that she would question whether he was better off without a father. She's also cautions about her relationship with Troy. Good dialogue. judi
