'Part three Chapter 13' is a good chapter. I like that Troy's mom is being helpful by babysitting. Anna seems to have an eating disorder if you ask me. She always has a problem around food. But at least she's finally realizing her life is better without Bobby. Good work.

Besides they've already missed having Michael around."/Since the first sentence of dialogue is that might work better in present tense: Besides they already miss having Michael around."----Sorry this post doesn't have big cliff hanger for an ending, but it just doesn't seem to fit./Sometimes we have no choice. The sound of a loud muffler caused Anna to grab Troy's arm. That caused some tension for the reader. Another well written chapter.

I liked this chapter Barbara. It felt like a sense of comfort settling a little into Anna. Her understanding of "safeness"growing.
I enjoyed this and felt it was a good fit.
No issues I could see or sense within this work.

What a delightful read! It is so good to feel Anna's current peace. I sure hope the baby is okay... I found this line did create a kind of cliff-hanger:
Was that Michael? She listened again. He must've rolled over.
I'm so glad to read in your notes that you enjoyed good family time over the holiday. I did as well.

A steady clean chapter. I think its good that Anna has a bit of 'me'time to enjoy her freedom and gain perspective. She comes over uncertain as can be expected after what she's been through. I enjoyed the short chapter. luv jada
