Your descriptive writing had me on that mountain looking for

I hope you had a winter jacket on for that trip. I so appreciate your wonderful and couraging words. My writing goal is to transport the reader into the story as a participant not simply a "reader" and it sounds like I succeeded. I hope you will remember some great things from your life as you remember t words from "The Warrior". Mike "mossmouse"

It's an amazing story too. Such feeling and compassion is shown. The ending, about Ripley, was amazingly told. A place in the sun. Sigh...

I liked this astounding of courage and it was full of descriptive language like"tears burned like forest fires in her eyes". It fit very well with the natural surroundings. I saw one mistake, "plaintiff" should be plaintive, as the plaintiff is the one bringing charges in a court of law. This was packed with action and good read.

This does say this is fiction...it is well-written and reads smoothly..If you want more reviews I would suggestion doing this as a two part story...many of the reviews won't take time to read a real long piece...I considered stopping in the middle just because of the length of the piece..very touching story. God bless.

A wonderful, wonder-full story that elevates the heart written with the kind of excellence that leaves you searching for the right words. It is moving and inspiring. The clear straightforward language that highlights the drama without making the narrative melodramatic and the direct narrative style make this read a special delight to read.

The story moved me to tears. If I had six stars to give I would give them. So beautiful, so gripping, so terrifying. I read it as fast as I could because I had to find out what happened - so scared st tale would end in tragedy.

The tragedy part is funny you mentioned that. When I was reading it to my wife a while back and got the part where the dog had just pulled Amanda up on the trail and laid down; she told me if I let that dog die she would never speak to me again. I never intended that but that was the scence I was setting...guess I was successful. Thank you for reading the Warrior. Mike

What a wonderful inspiring story! I so wish I had a six to give you. I once had a German Shepherd, which was an ex police dog too. The unity between 'Simba' and my son, was exactly as you describe here, because they are the most beautiful, faithful animals who, although showing affection for the whole household, usually bond completely with only one.
A beautifully written story and a pleasure to read. Well done!

Thank you very much for your thoughts on my story. It was great to put this one on paper even though it took several weeks to accomplish. I wanted the child to have a unique pet and Ripley, the dog who couldn't bark, seemed to be the answer. Have an awesome day alexisleech. Mike

gripping story that casts a spell as tension rises and rises for the search of amanda... the flow of the plot gievs the reader a sense of foreboding till the final relief is released.. the hearing impairment adds more humanstic approach to the theme.. well written with images that makes the goosebumps throb... a heartwarming piece that can be read again and still maintain it's poetic strength...well done
