This one reminds me of my dad's country house in New Mexico. He must have 15 bird feeders in his back yard - national forest.
I like that you captured the fun that they're having here. The imagery matches. Thank you for sharing this.

what a lovely sight it is to be able to watch the birds feed in the garden. It is the one thing I regret not having a garden now we are in an apartment.
Lovely poem introducing to these birds and their feeding habits.

A beautiful portrait of natural joy!
My family's chosen wildbird is the hummingbird...we have a feeder outside our kitchen that at times attract dozens of the little buzzers.
Well-written, smoothly flowing, and a joy to read!

I, too, love the cheerful chickadees. I live in Colorado, and they do too, in the pines in the winter. I liked the picture and your poem. They are a beautiful little winter bird. who seem to get through the winter on very little. I have often wondered what they eat, that is, when they aren't fed. You've written a feel-good, happy poem. We don'tsee many chick-a-dees around here. Our birds are blackbirds, robbins, sparrows, and robbins. But I understand the desire to feed the birds, I do it too, when I can.

This is a nice poem that reminds me of my own backyard which is another Chickadee heaven. I've been taking photographs of all sorts of backyard birds. The Chickadees only eat thistle seed at my house. The sunflower seeds attract the bigger birds.

Pure words to match the process. ran just as quickly by as the birds bopping and pranciing around the buffet. Almost felt a little breeze out there in the yard by the feeder :)
A very pleasant day though.
