I gave it four stars as in it isn't something that deserves five stars. With that I mean There are poems out there with the same theme, which express this theme much stronger.
The 5-7-5 rule... check! It has a structure. Short and simple. Not realy my taste, but it isn't a bad one either.

Well written. I felt a little frustrated reading it. It to the point as it should be. And I actually can empathize with this work. As I have been stood up before. And believe me it was the last time.

You have certainly stayed within the parameters of the contest. However, I think you could have come up with a better last line than repetition. Try to rewrite that last line. I hope you do not mind constructive criticism lovingly given.
