This is another action-filled chapter that compliments your story. I am definitely not surprised that something like this would occur. Her mother in law seemed to be the type that would go to this extreme.

Thanks for sharing this. JW

This chapter number thirty-four is outstanding with visually descriptive writing
Poor little boy he must be so frightened
That mother in law is absolutely horrid she does not love this child just out to be spiteful
Your notes show that kidnapping in custody cases happens far too often

This must be so traumatic for the parent involved! To have your child abducted is, to my mind, probably worse than the abuse of a husband! Thankfully, in Anna's case, they were not successful. A great descriptive read Barbara. It feels so real! Hugs and smiles, Cynthiaxxx

Very good chapter. The torture of this family towards Anna Just goes on. I feared that bat would do something like this. Very good chapter. In my city Barbara,a young mother [24] of three was murdered this past spring by her ex and his parents. Then they put her down in a septic tank behind a church. I hope they get the death penalty. They have confessed. With out remorse.

I noticed your story went from Thursday morning to Friday afternoon - is that what you intended? Not Thursday afternoon? Just checking. Otherwise a great piece, as usual! Thanks for sharing!

I thought Thursday would be too soon for the attempted abduction.

very beautiful and expressive chapter. love your messages behind the writing for abuse and kidnapping. This chapter had me glued and also the delivery was smooth and not complicated at all to follow along.

Just when Anna thinks that everything is going along fine, something else happens.
As the policemen interview Anna, one thing struck me, namely, the length of time they took to reassure her that her son was safe and well.
Surely, once the police have established that it was actually Anna's child, their next thought should be to reassure her, and then go on to tell her what has transpired.
Good sequencial unfolding of the storyline.

I felt sure Mrs. Rodgers wasn't through, but of course we're not sure at this point if it was her--but who else? Your story is following the lines of true life and continues to capture my attention. I want to see Anna and Troy get a chance.

More than half are under six. How frightening it must be for the other parent. Story continues to hold lots of interest. I like the way you always throw in a curve at the end.
