A chapter excellent, dynamic and emotion, good dialogue and narrative impeccable. I waitin that all problems of Anna had come to an end, but the ex mother-in-law not give repose. Loved this, congrats.

Well written story. (I lived through this story, no kidnapping attempts however.) It's not an easy subject to tell. Perfect job covering the emotions a mother would have when two cops show up and say there's been an accident.

Unless suffered, there can be no full appreciation of the emotional devastation a child kidnapping causes.
You see the printed pleas on packages and posters in retail stores and realize that only constant and pervasive attention by media will ever effect the recovery of any of these children.
Too often, it is only chance that they survive a stranger's abduction. Less often does fortune find a lost child taken by a family member.
Even with the resources of the FBI, too few of these suspected, or alleged, abductors apprehended. Nearly every month in California, an AMBER ALERT is flashed on the interstates' informational bulletin board noting the abduction of a child and listing the probably escape vehicle's license number.
Too often custody of a child is not the measure of regard for the child, rather the retention of control to the detriment of the opposing individual.

This was a wonderfully written chapter. I have a little boy and an abusive ex husband of my own, so it hit home for me very quickly.
I commend you on using your talent to write as a way to help raise awareness of such horrble, destructive crimes.
As for the work itself: Your writing is clear and direct. Character development is very good...so well done I didn't feel like I had missed anything in not reading the first chapters. Your heroine seems so strong and yet still struggles...so human and endearing.
I have no suggestions to improve. Keep up the great work.

Even though Anna got what she wanted in court, the drama continues. I liked the dramatic turn of events. It is a great tactic for a writer to paint a picture of everything going right for the protagonist then turning it around in a flash. I felt the tension as I read about the officers arrival at her work place. Sorry I had been away from FS for a month.
