This is an excellent entry. You speak so well in print, and for the first people proudly. I was very much caught up in your story and found it realistic[hum!] and probable. Things could have been very different. I am going to my first pow-wow this fall. Very good share, and best of luck in the contest, you deserve it.:)

Wow, Daph...you will love a pow-wow. I used to go to the Potawatami Festival every year. I met a man who is full blooded Cherokee. SO interesting, and funny too. He said they really do hate our government. He calls it a red white and blue snake. I tend to agree. Thank you dear, your review is so kind. HUG ... Susan

Beautifully written, Suse. You did use Tecumseh's words, though, didn't you? In any case, what you've written is very appropriate. Beautiful job. :) Nancy

Yes, I quoted his philosophys? Should I acknowledge it in notes? I put (") around them. I live just a few miles from Prophets Town, or Battleground, Indiana. So, and I graduated from William Henry Harrison High! ")) S.

I would mention it in the notes because we have so many people here who are interested in history and they'd find it interesting. :) Nancy

HI Pam! Thank you! I am adopted, so do not know my lineage, but I do feel a connection to the Native Americans....? I wish I could live out west and be in the mountains with just my horse and a cabin. Oh well. I'm too old and tired to try to go now. Thank you Pam. You are the best...xoxo, susan

where do you live now anyway?

HI Pam, I am in Lafayette, Indiana? Battleground is just minutes northeast of us...")

okay--historic battleground and you and your poor horse's battle.

Hey, that's right...I hadn't thought of that...and this continues too. For me...this house is back off the road so that's why they have to use planes. They MUST keep the fight going...THEY MUST think they win. IT's just disgusting. Wish me luck Sweetie? S.

This is native American, and I liked it.
The Indians winning over the white.
They should protect what is rightfully theirs.
Held my attention all the way.
Seemed very realistic.

I am alway honest, might give a highish rating, but say what I think. Nice to be the first for a change.
