The world is crashing down on me.
I cry out and lift my arms.
My spirit joins yours
Praises begin to flow from my heart and mouth

I enjoyed reading your poem very much, justjo. It is cleverly written and very well thought out. It must be very hard for you. I can only imagine what it would have been like.

    Yes,losing a child even one of 41 years old to suicide is a terrible thing. One does not ever get over it but we (our family) have learned to cope. Thank you for your comments on my poem.

Your poems speaks from the soul and although it has a slightly irregular flow, it is indicative of strong emotions tearing at the soul. your cry out to the Lord as you wait in the silence of night is very heartfelt.
