My rating may change after I read more of the chapters. I felt like the chapter moved a little too quickly without enough emotion. It seems like it should have been a very emotional time. The premise is interesting and I'll be reading on.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

Hi Barbara, I agree that two trials would be too much. I like the way you skipped along without bringing out every little detail, letting the reader do a little bit of imagining.

Thank you for the kiind review and your suggestion about the trail. I have only had one person tell me I should have included the trail.

Outstanding. The more I read of this story, the more I want to. It's a very compelling story about a very serious matter. I enjoy all the twists and turns and romance you put in as a bonus.

Excellent. A fast moving chapter with a lot of action to keep the reader on his toes. I applaud your ineres in and support of action against domestic violence, Too many people are hiding behind fake smiles out of fear. Thank you,

great decision to skip the details of this trial and just fill in the necessary details in retrospect. That works really well for me.
I guess the relationship between Troy and Anna may come back to haunt them yet - ridiculous law if you ask me...

Wow...it has been awhile since I have read, and I had almost forgotten how nice it is to read something through without having to note SPAG. This is well-written, as usual, realistic and authentic, you do well in making the reader feel the story, the characters plight, ie sympathy and anger for Anna and what she is going through, dislike of this Mrs. Rodgers (haven't read other chapters yet, so not sure who she is, but I already don't like her), the plot is constantly moving and checking. This was a pleasure to read, and I look forward to going back and catching up. Thank you for the post and many blessings.

Hi Barbara,

I wondered why there wasn't more written about the trial but when I read your notes I understand why. I hope the PI can't find anything to accuse Anna of doing. She seems lily white but she could have forgotten even the smallest of things. I am afraid Mrs.Rodgers is going to be a real problem but I hope Paul can find away around it if it does happen. Great chapter! Blessings, chey

Very interesting chapter and I definitely agree with you that describing two trials (especially if one after another)would be kind of pointless.

Keep up the great work,
Ivana

"If eyes were daggers, I'd be dead."/nice and very appropriate---- Paul tossled Michael's hair./tossled should read tousled----I decided not to go into the trial because the divorce trial is next. I felt 2 trials were too much./A wise decision--Another great chapter.

You decided to just touch on the abuse trial because the divorce trial was next is that what you mean? She certainly should be awarded a divorce and custody of the child. Her mother-in-law is really somethinng else. Her son can do nothing wrong as far as she is concerned. This is well written chapter, Barbara.

In this post I simply mentioned the abuse trial happened and what the verdict was. In my next post I will actually have some of the divorce trial in the writing. Thank you for the kind review.
