Such a very good next chapter.
Read a couple of the other ones.
Like how Anna gets settled .
And so nice Troy and this elderly couple helping her.
Can understand how she is scared for the time her husband gets released from jail.
And how well thought that you put in children need nice grandparents as well.
Held my attention again all the way.
Characters and dialogues so realistic.
No tips to improve.

I love the way your story is progressing. The deeper I get into your narrative I find your characters more and more real. Again I love the dialogss and formatting. Thanks for sharing and best wishes.

Quiet progression of your story - all going well. I wonder if there are more troubles in store or is that just 'Anna-Think'?

There is a glitch in the middle of this - Anna and Troy are having a conversation, alone except for Michael it would seem, when suddenly Paul speaks...

Hi Barbara:)
Things are going smoothly for Anna, now. She was a lucky woman to have Troy come to her aid. Now the whole family is helping Anna make the transition to life without Bobby.

I have a feeling that Troy's parents may hope that Anna will eventually become a part of theit fammily once Bobby is gone for good.

The problem is that abusive men like Bobby don't give up easily. The is a drunk and a troublemaker who ignores rules. I expect serious problems before he will accept defeat.I feel the suspense building up and soon he will be out of jail.

Great writing and SPAG-free.

Love and Irish hugs,

Roger

despite all the goodwill efforts, Anna will know that only a chance meeting stands between Bobby and her in the future, she cannot feel safe

Good chapter. I'm so glad Anna and michael have Paul and Betty to look after them. Things are too perfect and I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop; I don't want it to, but I know somehow it isn't over for Bobby to try something. I just hope this story has a happy ending. PS wish I had a friend to put $1,000 bucks in my account hehehe.

I am shocked that story still unfolds. It is becoming a mini-saga. And you've worked in so many characters. I'm trying to learn that now. Good work.

Hi, Barbara. This reads well. It is great Anna is receiving a helping hand from Paul and Betty. They even enjoy helping with her with her son. It must be a nightmare to find oneself married into such an awful person as her husband's, who also has a mother who is nearly as bad as him.

When you're ready, come on it./I'm not sure what you want to say here. Check it out.----While you have written a good chapter, you seem to be rushing through it without some of your terrific descriptions. ----After reading Author Notes, I understand. Schools back on your agenda. Great, but don't let it affect your writing too much, Axel

This was wonderful and happy too. No tradgedies this time. Flow is great. words still pull you in. I love the surprise beginnings you use to pull the reader to go on. "I feel like I live in a palace". and "Mom expects to see more of Michael". Peach cobbler and a bankbook! what a way to end a meal.
