Great alliteration and rhyme throughout your poem
just read your author's notes - unattended children in situations like that get my goat too.
So glad Lexi had a blast - the exuberant tone of your poem conveys that wonderfully :-) Brooke

Hello, jan.
It is a delight to see another Lexi poem. Yes, I've seen the unwatched children at the chick-fil around here. This poem is magical. Is this called monorhyme?
Warmly, Rebecca

I have no clue what it's called, Rebecca -- it's just what was rolling around in my head as I watched Lexi play. love, jan

The park is for the young and old alike. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for an easy read. Good job.

Jan, I'm tired just reading it. How did kids have so
much energy. I like all the action in this poem.
I know you enjoyed every minute of being with Miss Lexi.

I remember playing in those when I was little. My dad used to have to follow me when I was really little which I'm sure looked really funny but I had fun and that's all that mattered.

Adorable fun poem. Children always have such a great time. They have no worries and just go out and play! Your poem has wonderful rhythm and the rhyme is good too.

I have no clue why parents don't suppervise children. I enjoyed your poem. If it wasn't so hot here, I would go to park and watch children having fun.

This is a great little poem and picture from Lexi's point of view. Isn't it a shame that we can't enjoy being where we want to be because others ruin it?

Or your grandchildren
Running and shrieking

I enjoyed reading your poem
Well done

this poem and picture are perfect and reflects Lexi's POv. Children romping around must have gave her such pleasure. She must have been fun to watch.
