Another good work. I will miss reading your posts on a more regular basis, but I hope you will have many bright, shiny faces to mold and shape and enjoy. Thanks for the 'trips' away from home! robyn

This is a good addition to the story. The mother-in-law is a very real character. Your facts in the notes are so interesting and alarming.

A continuing tale of woe and abuse. I was captivated through out the story. You have a way of keeping the reader riveted and wanting more. Don

Barbara-
As usual, nothing to correct. Darn you teachers, taking away all our critical fun!
Very nicely done. Rich characters, and an engaging story.

Boy, there is no end to what Bobby will do. Selling her car was real sneaky. Thank goodness her lawyer was there to handle it and it was convenient that Mrs. Rodgers was there with her checkbook. Another great chapter. Well written with good dialogue.

That bed must have awful memories for her, she is better off sleeping on the floor. I see now where Booby's bad ass personality came from. His mother is a super bitch. Good chapter Barbara, I'll be looking for the next one.

Another interesting chapter of this ongoing saga of Anna and her effort to break free from her ex-husband, Bobby. believe that there will be more firworks in the ensuing chapter. Bobby doesn't seem the type to go away quietly.

Another wonderful chapter with lots of sub plots to engage the reader. I look forward to the next chapter and am anxious to see how Anna fares.

School already? Doesn't seem possible, but after this hot summer, fall will seem like a blessing!!! Another well written chapter.

Women who leave their batterers are at 75% greater risk of severe injury or death than those who stay.

That is a very sobering statistic. Thanks for continuing with this story-I'm sure it has helped bring this silent epidemic out into the open~Debbie
