This is a very lovely story Mrs KT. I enjoyed reading it very much. It is very cleverly written and very well thought out. Did your daughter know how special it was?

Well, you might not have still had a florist's license, but it looks like your mother did! What a wonderful surprise for both you and your daughter. :) nancy

Yes,that is a lovely photo of you and your daughter. I enjoyed your story and your smooth style of writing. I am not so sure about miracles though.

What a wonderful and touching story that has a great ending and the imagery and pace and descriptive scheme is really good. Love the fact that something so small turned out to be a big part of a joyous time.Your picture is just lovely and the bride is gorgeous. Blessings. Queenise

I too believe in miracles. I think they happen most days and people miss them.
When you catch a red light and it prevents you from being in a wreck; etc.
Good writing, it was inspirational!

A heart warming write - a great read to start off my morning here in Singapore. Congratulations on your daughter's wedding. =D
with its stem carefully wrapped in the handkerchief that my mother had given me for my own wedding thirty-two years ago.
I maintain there is nothing that can replace an heirloom of sorts. There's a connection not found in something that's newly purchased - a hand stretched through the generations.
A beloved grandmother's gift to her equally beloved granddaughter.
I believe these miracles do happen. Your mum witnessed the preparation and wedding from above. She's with you in spirit.

Beautiful story! Well written...and yes, I believe in miracles...large and small. Love the ones that are just blessings for us on a personal basis. Not earth shattering or kingdom changing...just little gifts of love. Enjoyed this very much.
